TWILIGHT JUST NEEDS TO GO AWAY!!!

Yep.. this post is basically gonna just be me ranting about, you guessed it, Twilight. Now, why am I ranting about Twilight? Well for starters, it is absolutely essential for everyone to at least have a tiny Twilight rant in their life. Come on, you know it's true.

Now I'm gonna admit that I'm a huge Twilight fan. And I'm the type of fan that acts like I completely hate Twilight and thinks that it's stupid, when in reality, I keep up with all the Twilight news and is just fascinated by Twilight. It's like a freaking addiction. It's horrible... but I love it.

So here's some back story. I first read Twilight around 2 years ago, at the most. Haha, funny story, I actually heard about Twilight from the Fall Out Boy boards. Yeah, weird, right? I just remember there being a post about Twilight and how someone wished they had their own Edward. So I decided, in that moment, that I must read it. Next thing I know, I'm in Borders purchasing the book.

Now I'm gonna be truthful. I read that book in one day. I stayed up to insane hours just devouring this book. I was hooked. You got me, Stephenie Meyer. Then I ended up buying New Moon and reading that in a day. Then Eclipse came out, and so forth.

I was in love. That's all I can say. I hadn't felt that good after reading a book since Harry Potter (yeah this is the only comparison I will make between these two series, just so you know). I was obsessed, geez I must sound so crazy, but it's true. So let me get on to the rant.

Twilight was perfect and then two things happened. Here I will give you some visuals:

and:

Yeah I said it. I know a ton of people might hate me for saying it, but it's true. And deep down, all the way down you know it's true. In all seriousness Breaking Dawn kind of ruined the series for me, because and this might sound a bit harsh and some people might get offended, but Breaking Dawn just, how do I put, it wasn't a good book. It was bad. That's all I can say, it....was....bad. Now don't get me wrong. There are moments in that book that just shine and are actually really good, but then there are some other moments where... I can't even explain. It just felt like there were these moments that were supposed to be really serious, but the way that it came off was pretty comical, but, whatever.

Moving on. My next reason is as you can see from my lovely visuals, comes in the form of British actor Robert Pattinson. Ok.. I don't want to hear people getting mad over this because I know for a fact that when he was cast, some of you Twilight fans threw the biggest fits ever. He is so not Edward material, for a movie, and here's why. But wait a second this is a waste of time ranting about because Twilight the movie came out last month and he's cast and he's gonna stay there.. but I'm still gonna complain. Back to my original point.

Now this might not be all of Robert's fault personally, but the acting was bad. You know it's true, you know it. Also he's needs to work on the accent, just a little. I mean I have a better American accent then he does, of course I'm American so that might play a part in it, but he just needs to work on it. Now I'm not going to complain about his looks because, I'll admit it, he looked pretty damn good on screen. Off screen however.. I'm just not even gonna go there. Oh I like his haircut. It suits him better than when he had the nasty, greasy hair hanging all over his face.

Another thing I don't particulary like is, and I'm sorry for saying this, but Twilight moms wearing the Hot Topic Twilight merch. Now, my mom's a Twilight mom, she loves the series even more than me. The thing I don't like is 30 year and older women wearing these tight shirts that say things like ''Bite me, Edward.'' and other lame things like that. Yeah, you have all the rights in the world to wear the shirts whatever, but it just, it's weird.

I also don't like the screaming fangirls. Yeah, I know many people may agree with me on this. Also I noticed a lot of people are in denial when it comes to if they're a fangirl or not. I've actually come up with a little list so people will know if they are or aren't a fangirl. Here it goes, if you do any of the following, you're a fangirl:

1. You waited outside in lines forever, to see Robert Pattinson, Kirsten Stewart, Taylor Lautner, etc.

2. You screamed or squealed when Robert Pattinson came on screen.

3. You made any type of home made sign showing your support for Twilight.

4. You scream or squeal if you even see a copy of one of the books in the Twilight series.

Yeah it's a short list, but a very honest one. So here's my Twilight rant, hope you enjoyed it because I sure did. Now I'm going to go and read Twilight some more and hug my books, or something. I don't know.
